Xiaomi's new 7-seater Kunlun crossover undergoes road testing

Xiaomi has launched road tests for its next major project — a full-size crossover named Kunlun. Spotted in China under camouflage, this model is expected to enter the market as the Xiaomi YU9. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
The new vehicle features a three-row seating system and is designed for seven passengers. According to spy shots, the crossover stands out with a closed front fascia, sharp-lined optics, a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, flush door handles, and large wheel arches. The car's length is approximately 5.2 meters.
Technically, the model will be equipped with an EREV hybrid system. With a battery capacity exceeding 70 kWh, it will be capable of covering more than 400 kilometers on electric power alone.
As a reminder, Xiaomi's first success in the automotive market, the Xiaomi SU7 model, is generating significant interest. Within 48 days of the start of sales, the number of confirmed orders for this electric vehicle exceeded 80,000.
