The era of affordable small cars is not over: Getting to know the Ford Fiesta

I like to think of myself as someone who doesn't follow trends and does things a little differently. However, my recently purchased Ford Fiesta might suggest otherwise. If it were entirely up to me, I would have chosen an unusual model like a Daihatsu Cuore Avanzato or a Talbot Matra Rancho for my wife, who recently got her driver's license. This is reported by Autocar.co.uk .

Unfortunately, her requirements for her first car focused more on efficiency, reliability, and practicality than on exoticism. Therefore, our choice fell on models in the supermini class. In the end, a 2009 5-door Ford Fiesta in the Titanium trim with a 1.4-liter engine won us over.

This car met all our requirements with its affordable price, color, and most importantly, the fact that it was being sold just five miles from our home. Although the market is currently flooded with crossovers, the Ford Fiesta proves that compact sedans and hatchbacks have not yet lost their practical value.
