It has been announced that Turkish actress Afra Saraçoğlu, who became famous worldwide through the popular TV series “Secrets of the Mound”, will soon return to the screens with a new project. This was reported by the well-known Turkish journalist Birsen Altuntaş.

According to her, Saraçoğlu, who took a short break after the finale of the TV series “Secrets of the Mound”, will once again collaborate with producer Onur Guvenatam’s OGM Pictures. The actress is expected to create the image of the main character in the TV series “Pera”, which is being developed specifically for the Disney Plus platform.

The new series will be directed by Bahodir Karataş. The project's script was written by Bashar Basharan, and its plot is said to be similar to the theme of the famous film "The Truman Show". Afra Saracoglu will play the role of the main character - Pera in this series. According to information, the actress has already approved the project and is at the stage of signing a contract.

In addition, the actress will also star in a commercial for the Global Tourism Promotion Platform Go Turkiye in May, alongside famous Turkish star Engin Akyurek.

The actress said that she had previously received offers from several new series, but had not yet made a final decision. This time, her choice is clear, and filming is scheduled to begin in June.
