Russian singer Filipp Kirkorov has been hospitalized in Moscow due to complications from a burn injury sustained during a performance in St. Petersburg, upl.uz reported.
The injury was slow to heal, worsened by the artist’s diabetes condition. Doctors diagnosed bursitis, an inflammation of the joint caused by the burn on his arm.
Kirkorov is currently undergoing daily treatment and bandaging, and doctors have banned him from flying to avoid further complications.
According to his representatives, the singer has been under medical supervision for about two weeks. His recovery is being carefully monitored due to his chronic illness.
Rumors about “implant rupture” were denied by plastic surgeon Timur Khaydarov, who confirmed that the issue is purely health-related and burn-induced.
