Senator calls for action against blogger “Chechenka”

A video showing a blogger known by the nickname “Chechenka” provoking young children to fight each other has circulated widely on social media.

Following this, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Jamila Bobonazarova, sharply condemned the incident.

“This behavior goes against maternal values. Considering that her main audience consists of young mothers, it is unacceptable to hand objects to children, encourage them to fight, and promote such content. I strongly condemn the posting of such videos,” said the senator.

She also called on the Children’s Ombudsman to thoroughly investigate the blogger’s activities and take the situation under control.

It was reported that on July 14, the Children’s Ombudsman sent an official request to the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding this matter.

According to the Department of Internal Affairs of Yakkasaroy District in Tashkent city, citizen A.G., born in 1993, during a family outing in Tashkent region on July 13, made her son and nephew fight in a “joking” manner and posted the video on her Instagram page.

On July 15, 2025, blogger G.A. was held accountable under Article 47 of the Administrative Responsibility Code — “Failure to fulfill duties in the upbringing and education of children,” for actions contrary to the interests of the child.
