The series “Wednesday” officially renewed for Season 3

Renowned director Tim Burton and lead actress Jenna Ortega revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Netflix’s popular mystery series Wednesday has been officially renewed for a third season. Additionally, Peopletalk reports that a spin-off based on the project is currently being discussed.

There is no exact release date for Season 3 yet. However, the highly anticipated second season is expected to premiere soon. It will be released in two parts: the first part premieres on August 6, and the second is scheduled for release on September 3.

The storyline of the series revolves around Wednesday Addams, familiar from the famous “Addams Family.” She is the daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, trying to deal with her paranormal abilities while also making new friends.

What trials and threats await Wednesday in Season 3 remain a mystery. However, Jenna Ortega previously stated that the new season would be even darker and more dramatic than before.
