Turkish actor and model Burak Deniz, widely known in Uzbekistan through many popular films, submitted hair and blood samples for testing, in which narcotic substances were found. This was reported by the publication “Yeniçağ”.
It is reported that within the framework of the investigation, examinations conducted at the Forensic Medicine Institute revealed “marijuana” and “cocaine” in samples taken from actor Burak Deniz, actress Serra Pirinç, and Enes Güler; “marijuana” in singer Utku Unsal; and an active pharmaceutical substance in singer Simge Sağın.
Now Burak Deniz may not only face criminal liability but also lose advertising contracts and cooperation agreements. Earlier, reports had also circulated that Deniz, while intoxicated, had been involved in several scandals.
For reference, Burak Deniz is currently 35 years old. He made his film debut at the age of 20 in the youth series “College Diary” alongside Şenay Gürler and other actors. Later, he gained fame through the series “The Fugitive”. The series “Pretty Little Liars” (Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar) featuring him also became popular, and thanks to the series “Our Story”, the actor gained recognition abroad.
It should be recalled that earlier Burak Deniz was detained in Istanbul as part of a police anti-drug operation. Along with him, well-known artists Mert Demir, Emre Fel Öztürk, and Ender Eroğlu were also arrested.
