India’s 71st National Film Awards have been announced, with Shah Rukh Khan winning Best Actor for the first time in his career, according to NDTV.com.
He received the award for his performances in “Jawan” and “Dunki.” Rani Mukerji was named Best Actress for her role in “Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway.”
“Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery” was awarded Best Hindi Film. The movie was praised for tackling serious social issues with a comedic tone.
