Director Sunil Darshan has weighed in on the rumored affair between Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra, stating that the responsibility lies with Akshay, according to NDTV.com.
He said it would be unfair to blame Priyanka, as she was young and focused on building her career at the time. “Akshay, on the other hand, was married and should have acted more responsibly,” the director added.
Darshan did not confirm or deny the rumors but emphasized that every individual must take responsibility for their actions in personal matters.
He made these remarks during a conversation about the film “Andaaz.”
In that film, Akshay and Priyanka starred opposite each other, and it was during this time that rumors about a possible relationship began circulating.
