Young actress Bella Ramsey admitted that she would like to play one of the most beloved heroes in the Marvel universe — Spider-Man. She mentioned this in an interview with Variety.
“I could be Spider-Man too,” she said when asked by the journalist which superhero role she would like to play.
According to Ramsey, Tom Holland, who has portrayed Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2016, “has done a really great job.” “So maybe Marvel will have to create a new hero for me,” the actress added with a laugh.
Interestingly, just two months ago Ramsey revealed that she had watched her first Marvel movie. The film she chose was “Spider-Man,” in which the main character was played by another actor — Andrew Garfield.
21-year-old Bella Ramsey gained wide fame for her role as Ellie in the HBO series “The Last of Us,” based on the computer game of the same name. Nevertheless, among the fans of the series, her casting was met with mixed reactions — many expressed dissatisfaction due to the differences between the actress’s appearance and the animated character’s image.
