Yaroslav Evdokimov died at the age of 78

Famous Russian singer and known for the song "Fantazer" Yaroslav Evdokimov died at the age of 78. He was an honored artist of Russia and a People's Artist of the Belarusian SSR, writes Kursiv media site.

According to his wife Irina Krapivnitskaya, Evdokimov had been battling lung sarcoma for the last one and a half years.

The question about the ceremony has not been resolved yet, the likelihood of a ceremony in Moscow is low. Evdokimov was born on November 22, 1946, and was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Belarusian SSR in 1987, and Honored Artist of Russia in 2006.
