Singers and performers now submit tax declarations in a simplified form

The Tax Committee announced the initial results of the new electronic service introduced for representatives of the concert and entertainment sector. This service, launched on June 30, enables singers and performers to submit their annual income declarations in a much simpler way.

As is known, every citizen is constitutionally obliged to pay income tax. To make this process more convenient, the database of the state institution “Uzbekkonsert” has been integrated with the information system of the tax authorities.

Now, singers and performers holding a “Concert and Entertainment Activity” license can use this service automatically after confirming their identity in the “Soliq” mobile application and passing Face ID verification.

According to the committee, as of August 18, 1954 license holders had already used the new system to submit their declarations.

The top five regions with the highest number of submitted declarations are as follows:

  • Khorezm region — 294;

  • Tashkent city — 291;

  • Bukhara region — 212;

  • Samarkand region — 207;

  • Tashkent region — 157.

Officials emphasized that this new service not only creates significant convenience for singers and performers but also ensures a more transparent and efficient process of tax reporting.

Thus, cooperation between government bodies and representatives of the creative industry is reaching a new level, and compliance with legal requirements is becoming easier.
