Akshay Kumar is one of the most prolific and famous actors in the Indian film industry. He has acted in more than 150 films and is well known in Bollywood under the title “Khiladi” (“The Player”).
Born in Punjab in 1967, Akshay’s real name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. He first worked in Hong Kong as a cook and practiced martial arts, then returned to India and moved from modeling to an acting career.
In the 1990s, he gained great fame with the “Khiladi” series. Today, he has proven himself not only in action films but also in comedy and dramatic roles. “Hera Pheri,” “Bhool Bhulaiyaa,” “Airlift,” and “Kesari” are considered among his most famous works.

According to Forbes magazine, he is among the highest-paid actors in the world. On average, he earns 70–120 crore rupees per film. That is why his fans call him the “Golden Man of Bollywood.”
