Famous Hollywood director Tim Burton and Italian film star, model Monica Bellucci have announced the end of their relationship. In their joint statement given to AFP, they emphasized that the decision to separate was made “with mutual deep respect and consideration.”
The romantic relationship between Burton and Bellucci was confirmed in 2023. Shortly afterward, Monica appeared in the sequel to the 1988 cult classic “Beyetlejuice,” a comedy-horror film. In the movie, the actress portrayed the evil creature Delores, who seeks revenge on her ex-husband played by Michael Keaton.
This is not Bellucci’s first major separation. She was previously married to French actor Vincent Cassel for 14 years, with the marriage officially ending in 2013. From that union, she has two children. Before Monica, Tim Burton had a long-term relationship with British actress Helena Bonham Carter, with whom he also has two children.
Burton is renowned for his distinctive directing style, blending elements of gothic, comedy, and fantasy, which has earned him worldwide fame.
