Actor Josh Hartnett, best known for the movie “Pearl Harbor,” faced an unfortunate incident while filming a Netflix series in Canada. According to CBC, in St. John’s, the car in which the actor was a passenger collided with a local police patrol vehicle.
The accident happened while Hartnett was returning home from the filming set. He and the driver were taken to the hospital as a precaution, but police reported that neither of them sustained serious injuries. The officer in the patrol car was also hospitalized.
Hartnett’s representative stated that after a medical check-up, Josh returned home and resumed his work. Therefore, the production of the series was not affected.
For reference: Hartnett is starring in and also serving as an executive producer for a yet-untitled six-part series being filmed in Newfoundland. The story follows a tough fisherman (Hartnett) who must protect his family, community, and a vanishing way of life after a mysterious sea creature begins to terrorize a small coastal town.
