It turned out that two poems performed by singer Mirjalol Nematov were performed without the author's consent. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.
According to the information, Farhod Muminov, a member of the Society for the Protection of Copyright and Related Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan, appealed to the Ministry of Justice about the unauthorized performance by the performer of his poems "Neighbor girl" and "When I Stand."
During the study, it was established that these poems were indeed performed without the author's consent. For this reason, a protocol was drawn up against Mirjalol Nematov on the basis of Article 177 prim 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and the case was sent to court.
According to the decision of the Uchtepa District Criminal Court of Tashkent, the perpetrator was found guilty and fined.
Experts emphasize that any performer must obtain the author's consent before delivering the work to the public, otherwise this is considered a violation of copyright.
