The 10th European Film Festival will be held in Uzbekistan


The 10th European Film Festival will be held in Tashkent on November 7-9, and in Termiz on November 12. As part of this traditional cultural dialogue, 12 films from EU member states will be screened free of charge for Uzbek audiences.

According to the delegation of the European Union, all films will be shown in their original languages with Uzbek and Russian subtitles. The festival is organized with the support of the embassies of European countries and the Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency.

The program features films in a variety of genres, from lyrical dramas to inspiring stories. In addition to the main program, with the support of the French Alliance and the Goethe Institute, short amateur films on the theme "Generations" will be screened.

The cultural program will be enriched by performances from the famous Spanish dance group Aire Nuevo Danza. The first European Film Festival in Uzbekistan was held in 2013, and since then it has become an important annual platform for cultural exchange.
