Liya Akhedzhakova Praises Uzbek Dubbing

Uzbek actor and blogger Otabek Mahkamov met with Russian actress Liya Akhedzhakova. Despite her advanced age, the 87-year-old actress remains active on stage, delighting audiences with her performances.

Akhedzhakova is well-known to Uzbek viewers through her role as a secretary in the 1977 film "Office Romance," which has been regularly broadcast on Uzbek television with professional dubbing over the years.

During the meeting, Otabek Mahkamov presented the actress with the Uzbek-dubbed version of her character's performance. Akhedzhakova praised the dubbing highly, noting that the voice sounded as if it were her own in the Uzbek language.
