Netflix Warner Bros. Discovery announced that it is acquiring the company, as well as its affiliated HBO and HBO Max platforms, for $72 billion. The total value of the deal is set at $82.7 billion.

The official conclusion of the major deal is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
