Minister of Culture and People's Artist of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov celebrated his 52nd birthday yesterday.
He was born on May 7, 1974, in the Shahrixon district of the Andijan region. Raised in a family of ordinary workers, the artist was the only child to receive a higher education. He lost his mother at the age of 10.
Muhriddin Xoliqov made a significant contribution to the artist's development. He supported the young talent and helped him on his creative path.
Between 2005 and 2016, Ozodbek Nazarbekov held long-term annual concert programs that captured the attention of fans. Later, his creative work saw pauses due to his administrative duties. The artist is also distinguished by his ability to speak fluently in 12 Uzbek dialects.
Today, Ozodbek Nazarbekov is not only a People's Artist of Uzbekistan but also of Karakalpakstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
