Man distributing candies with needles to children arrested

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, in the Lenin district, a man who distributed candies containing needles to children was arrested. This was reported by the press service of the district’s Internal Affairs Department.
It is reported that on March 28 of this year, around 8:00 PM, the police received information that a man was distributing candies containing needles to children in the Ok-Orda residential area.
A resident of this area, a woman named B.G., stated that her 11-year-old daughter and other children also received such candies from an unknown person.
An investigation was initiated by the Investigative Department, and necessary examinations were assigned. Police officers detained the suspect N.D. during investigative actions. He is currently placed in temporary detention.
During a search of the suspect’s residence, candies and other material evidence were seized. Investigative proceedings are ongoing. The Lenin district court placed the suspect in pre-trial detention for two months.
