
In April 2025, inflation in Uzbekistan was recorded at 0.7%, the UPL.uz website reported. This is the lowest April rate in the past five years. For comparison, April inflation was 0.93% in 2024, 0.82% in 2023, 1.47% in 2022, 1.53% in 2021, and 1.7% in 2020.
The annual inflation rate also continued to decline, from 10.3% in March to 10.1% in April 2025. This indicates a gradual slowdown in price growth.
In April, food prices rose by 0.8%, non-food goods by 0.4%, and paid services by 1%. This shows that price increases affected various sectors of the economy to different extents.
