
Chinese corporation Jiangsu World Group plans to invest $95 million in establishing automated cotton cultivation and processing enterprises in Uzbekistan's Surkhandarya region, reports Kursiv Media.
The project will cover 20,000 hectares, encompassing cotton cultivation, harvesting, and fiber processing. During a meeting between the Chinese delegation and regional governor Ulugbek Qosimov, discussions focused on developing the project's feasibility study and selecting suitable land plots.
Jiangsu World Group specializes in manufacturing agricultural and construction machinery, supplying products to agribusinesses across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
