UzAuto Motors’ Profit Has Dropped Sharply

In the first half of 2025, UzAuto Motors recorded a net profit of 1.38 trillion UZS (approximately). This figure is 27.5% lower compared to the same period last year, reported @latipovjahongir Telegram channel.

The company’s total revenue also decreased by 9.5%, amounting to 21.2 trillion UZS. Its domestic market share fell from 90.2% to 82.2%.

The drop was caused by increased sales of rival brands like Kia, BYD, and Haval, growing interest in electric vehicles due to fuel prices and waiting times, and falling prices in the secondary market.

Nevertheless, in the second quarter of 2025, profit rose to 759 billion UZS. This was due to renewed demand for local cars after the utilization fee for EVs increased on May 1.
