The Chinese company Guojian Zhanmao (Putian) Supply Chain will invest $150 million in the construction of an industrial park on an area of 100 hectares in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Kursiv.media.
The investor was offered to create special clusters in the leather and textile industry in Bukhara, Navoi, Samarkand, or Fergana regions.
Solar panels are planned to be installed in the park to ensure a stable power supply. This not only covers the plant's needs but also allows for the delivery of excess energy to other consumers.
The company's delegation will visit the country in September 2025 and agree on legal and technical terms with local authorities.
