More than 17 thousand gold bars were sold in Uzbekistan in 8 months

A total of 17,387 gold bars were sold in Uzbekistan during the first eight months of 2025. Their total weight was 380 kg. This information was announced at a press conference held at the Central Bank.

For comparison, by the end of 2024, 14,382 ingots (236 kg) were sold. This figure is 2.5 times higher than in 2023. Compared to 2020, the sale of gold bars increased sixfold.

As of September 19, 2025, the regulator set the following prices:

• 5 gram bar — 7.39 million soums;

• 10 gram — 14.78 million soums;

• 20 gram — 29.57 million soums;

• 50 gram — 73.93 million soums;

• 100 gram — 147.86 million soums.
