In the eight months of 2025, a total of 17,387 gold bars were sold in Uzbekistan, Kursiv.media reported. Their total weight amounted to 380 kg. These figures were announced at a press conference held at the Central Bank.
For comparison, at the end of 2024, 14,382 bars (236 kg) were sold, which is 2.5 times more than in 2023. Compared to 2020, the sales of gold bars have increased more than 6 times.
As of September 19, 2025, the regulator has set the following prices:

5 gram bar — 7.39 million soums;

10 gram — 14.78 million soums;

20 gram — 29.57 million soums;

50 gram — 73.93 million soums;

100 gram — 147.86 million soums.
