Within the framework of the Digital Bridge 2025 international forum, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, Blockchain Techno reported.
Tokayev highly appreciated Zhao's contribution to the development of the global crypto industry and financial technology ecosystem. According to him, the initiatives led by Zhao play an important role in the advancement of the digital economy in Kazakhstan.
In 2022, a memorandum was signed to establish a regional crypto hub based on Binance Lab in Kazakhstan. Since then, numerous promising projects in the field of blockchain and crypto technologies have been implemented in the country.
