Uzbekistan imported $8 billion worth of goods in two months

The first two months of 2026 began with unprecedented activity and high growth rates for Uzbekistan's foreign trade. According to a new report by the Statistics Agency, the flow of goods and services entering our country from abroad has expanded significantly. Sharp increase in import volume
According to the results of January-February 2026, Uzbekistan's import indicator amounted to $8.1 billion US dollars. Notably, this figure is 29.8 percent higher than the same period last year. During this short period, our country established trade relations with more than 135 countries of the world and purchased products.
China — absolute leader
In supplying products from the foreign market, the People's Republic of China traditionally retains its leadership. Within two months, goods worth $2.8 billion were imported from the "Middle Kingdom" to our country. This constitutes a significant part of the total import volume.
The strong top ten of main partners
