    Ways to keep knees healthy
    Knees play an important role in our daily movements, but are often not cared for enough. Pain, physical load related to sports and activity can damage the knee. Weight gain, chronic illnesses, and genetics also accelerate knee problems.

    To protect the knee, it is necessary to strengthen the muscles. Exercises stimulate the production of synovial fluid in the knee, which reduces stiffness and inflammation.

    Exercises that can be done at home are helpful: squats, straight leg raises, calf raises, and exercises getting up from a chair. Doing each exercise every day for a few minutes, 3–4 times a week, helps strengthen the knee and stabilize the joint.

    According to specialists’ advice, it is recommended to start strengthening the knees from the age of 30. Simple and regular exercises help keep the knees healthy, protect them from falls or injuries, and increase freedom of movement in the future.
