Prosecutor’s assistant caught with illegal pharmaceuticals

The senior assistant prosecutor of Syrdarya region has been detained with strong-acting pharmaceutical drugs.

During an operation conducted by law enforcement agencies in Zangiota district of Tashkent region, a "Spark" car driven by the prosecutor's assistant was stopped. Upon inspection, 50 tablets of "Zardex"—a potent pharmaceutical—were found in the car's interior.

Further investigation led to the arrest of the supplier, a resident of Bulungur district, Samarkand region, born in 1997. Authorities seized an additional 300 tablets of "Zardex" as material evidence.

Reports indicate that these drugs were illegally smuggled from Kyrgyzstan.
