Deputy Head of Tashkent City Police Department Arrested

During the operational-search activities carried out by the State Security Service as part of the fight against corruption, the illegal actions of the Deputy Head of the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department were exposed.

It was reported that this official abused his official position. He constantly took bribes in exchange for approving the draft design of buildings planned for construction in Tashkent, signing acts on automatic fire alarm devices, and giving a positive opinion to the state acceptance commission on the commissioning of newly built or reconstructed buildings.

Such objects include buildings of a general secondary school and a medical institution.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against this person under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure in the form of detention has been applied.
