Schoolboy fatally hits child with father's car in Namangan

In the Uchqurghon district of Namangan region, a 10th-grade student drove his father’s Cobalt and fatally hit a 4th-grade student from the same school, nova24.uz reported.

The child was hospitalized but died despite medical efforts.

The teenage driver’s father was in Russia at the time, and his mother was also not home. A criminal case has been opened under Article 266, part 2 of the Criminal Code. The boy could face up to 7 years in prison.
