Man fined over 12 million UZS for damaging trees in Tashkent

A man in Tashkent’s Uchtepa district has been fined for damaging two plane trees, upl.uz reported.

Following social media reports, the city’s environmental department conducted an inspection in the 11th quarter of Zargharlik Street. The man had harmed the trees during trimming, though they remain alive.

He was fined 9,375,000 UZS under the Administrative Code and ordered to pay an additional 3,000,000 UZS for environmental damage — totaling 12,375,000 UZS (approx. $1,000). Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
