
The Uzunbulak mahalla of the Gallaorol district of the Jizzakh region was officially granted the status of a "Tourism mahalla" by the Tourism Committee. At a festive event organized on this occasion, the chairman of the mahalla was ceremoniously awarded a special "Tourism mahalla" certificate.
Currently, the tourism infrastructure in the Uzunbulak mahalla is developing rapidly. Currently, more than 10 family guest houses, 8 artisans, 5 catering establishments, as well as 2 selfie zones and 3 shopping centers are operating here.
During the event, two more local entrepreneurs were awarded special certificates for successfully organizing family guest houses.
Also, as part of this event, the "Travel around Uzbekistan!" A domestic tourism fair was also held under the slogan. Local artisans presented their products to the general public at the fair. In addition, a number of tourism companies introduced new tourist routes and tour packages.
The establishment of a "Tourism Mahalla" in Uzunbulak is expected to further develop domestic tourism in the region, increase employment of the local population, and thereby have a positive impact on the economic development of the region.
It is planned to continue such events in the future. In particular, by the end of 2025, the "Ukhum" mahalla in the Forish district of Jizzakh region and the "Novka" mahalla in the Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region are also planned to be granted the status of "Tourism Mahalla".
