An Uzbek national accused of fraud was arrested in the United States
Law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan have managed to return another person wanted internationally to our country. As a result of effective cooperation between the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan and the relevant US authorities, a citizen accused of large-scale fraud was detained in the United States.

As it was reported, this person is accused of committing fraud on a large scale under Article 168, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. His actions led to the initiation of a criminal case within the country and an international wanted list was announced.

As a result of negotiations with Interpol, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other authorized bodies, a decision was made to deport the wanted person from the United States.

The suspect was taken under special surveillance to the Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent and later handed over to the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan. He will now be held accountable in accordance with the established procedure.

Such cases once again demonstrate the importance of cooperation between states in the fight against international crime. The Uzbek side demonstrates its firm commitment to keeping criminal cases against its citizens under control and ensuring appropriate punishment on an international scale.

It is worth noting that in recent years, Uzbekistan has been achieving significant success in returning persons wanted by Interpol to the country. This is of great importance not only for the strength of the legal system, but also for the international prestige of the state.
