Man in Tashkent fined 750,000 soums for harassment
A man in Tashkent harassed a woman and was fined, Nova24.uz reported.

According to the information, the incident took place on June 21 in the Yashnobod district. Around 7:00 PM, a 22-year-old man touched an unfamiliar woman below the back in the street.

In court, the young man partially admitted his guilt, expressed remorse, and requested a lighter sentence.

The Yashnobod District Criminal Court found him guilty under Article 41-1 (Sexual Harassment) and sentenced him to a fine of 2 base calculation units, amounting to 750,000 soums.
