
In Tashkent, members of a criminal group engaged in the distribution of narcotic substances through the internet, specifically through the Telegram messenger, were arrested. As a result of a special rapid operation conducted in cooperation between the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the activities of this drug group were stopped.
Contraband substances: dangerous scheme exposed
According to information, these individuals had planned to distribute drugs smuggled into the country through various regions. Their activities mainly covered the city of Tashkent, as well as the Andijan, Fergana, Namangan, Samarkand, and Bukhara regions.
“Telegram narco-store”: managing a criminal network from rented housing
During the operation conducted in the city of Ohangaron, Tashkent region, it was revealed that five members of the drug group were living in rented housing in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent and operated a “narco-market” through modern digital means — in particular, Telegram.
During the rapid actions, 400 grams of synthetic narcotic substance called “Alpha-PVP” were found on them. This substance was packaged in small 0.3-gram packets and, as it turned out, was intended for delivery to “clients” in the Andijan region. This proves not only possession but also the intent to distribute.
53 hidden spots — a professional network
Based on the testimony of the arrested individuals, in another operation, 53 hidden locations in the Andijan region were discovered, each containing a 0.3-gram packet of synthetic drugs. This shows how organized and pre-planned the group’s activity was.
7 kilograms of drugs in the car — the “operator” was caught
The operations did not stop there. A 22-year-old who operated as the “operator” of the network and resided in the Izboskan district of Andijan was also arrested in the Yangihayot district. Upon searching his personal car, 986 grams of hashish and 7 kilograms of Alpha-PVP were found in the trunk and cabin.
Criminal cases initiated, pre-trial detention applied
Criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The court imposed pre-trial detention as a precautionary measure. Investigative actions are ongoing, and other members of the group may be identified.

Experts emphasize that the use of social networks and messengers to distribute illegal products is increasing. This requires not only law enforcement but also the alertness and responsibility of ordinary citizens.
