
Five members of a drug-dealing network operating through the Telegram messenger were detained in Ohangaron city, Tashkent region, the State Security Service reported.
The suspects, who had been living in a rented house in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent, were caught transporting 400 grams of synthetic drug “Alpha-PVP,” packaged in 0.3-gram doses, intended for clients in Andijan region.
Based on their testimony, 53 hidden stashes containing similar 0.3 g doses were located and confiscated in Andijan.
The operator of the drug network, born in 2003 and residing in Izboskan district of Andijan, was also detained in Yangihayot. A search of his car revealed 986 grams of hashish and 7 kg of “Alpha-PVP.”
It was established that the group had been selling smuggled drugs across Tashkent city and the regions of Tashkent, Andijan, Fergana, Namangan, Samarkand, and Bukhara.
A criminal case has been launched under Article 25,273 (Part 5) of the Criminal Code. All suspects have been taken into custody, and investigations are ongoing. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
