Fake gynecologist exposed in Tashkent for extorting money from women
In Tashkent, an unusual case was discovered that shook the public. A man without medical education, certificates, or diploma posed as a gynecologist and took money from women. He created a fake profile on Telegram, presenting himself as a real gynecologist working at a women's clinic in the capital. This fraud was reviewed in court and he was held administratively responsible.

According to Kun.uz, the citizen named B.Sh., born in 1996, created the fake Telegram profile in late June 2025. In this virtual account, he introduced himself as a specific female doctor — D. Saydumova. The fake profile featured the exact photo and name of the gynecologist. The most dangerous aspect was that he gave advice as if he were a professional, disseminating incorrect and harmful information.

Citizen B.Sh. fully admitted his guilt in court. He confirmed that he communicated with people under a false identity and even took payment from some patients for services. He admitted he had no relation to medicine and lacked both knowledge and experience in the field. In court, he expressed remorse and asked for leniency.

The victim, D. Saydumova, stated in court that her personal rights, reputation, and professional standing were violated. According to her, the advice given via the fake profile was completely contrary to gynecological practice and false. Most tragically, he charged for giving those recommendations. This threatened not only the doctor's reputation, but also the health of her patients.

Law enforcement classified the incident under Article 202‑2, part 1 of the Administrative Code (creating an account in another person's name, using personal data). The court fined B.Sh. 18,750,000 soums, which is 50 times the minimum wage.

This event is seen not only as a personal offense but as a serious signal regarding public security and online ethical norms. Fake pages made in others' names to deceive and profit are increasing. Such actions affect not only the victim but society at large.

Legally, citizens' personal data is protected. Using someone’s photograph, name, or professional details without permission is a crime. Yet, in practice, many treat such acts as "harmless internet jokes." This court case revealed the real consequences of such misconceptions.

Public reaction has been intense. On social media, people are saying: “Not just a fine, but prison is needed.” When you cannot trust your own health advice, such impostors erode public confidence.

This incident should be a lesson for everyone. Before following any online advice, verify that the person is a real doctor and rely only on official sources. Trust in society can only be restored through honesty and accountability.
