Equinox caught fire in Mirzo-Ulugbek district
On July 16, 2025, at approximately 00:10, Tashkent’s emergency services received a report of a burning Equinox vehicle, reported UPL.uz.

The incident occurred on Mirzo-Ulugbek Street in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of the capital.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at 00:13 and began extinguishing the fire. The vehicle was completely extinguished by 00:16.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
According to preliminary data, a short circuit in the engine compartment caused the fire. The flames started under the hood and spread to the car's interior.
