In Kashkadarya region, a dispute between drivers attracted wide public attention. The incident that occurred in Yakkabog district turned not only into arguments but also into an actual fight and vehicle collisions.
According to information, on July 30 in Yakkabog, the fight for the route unexpectedly turned into a major conflict. Disagreements over the route arose between Damas drivers and owners of multi-seated, mostly foreign-made vehicles.
What began as a verbal quarrel quickly escalated into a physical confrontation. Both sides went against each other, and a brawl began. In the video footage, it can be seen that some drivers grabbed each other's collars, and others tried to ram vehicles into each other. This shows the seriousness of the situation.
According to Kun.uz source, the reason behind the dispute was competition for the passenger route. Damas drivers had been working on a certain route for a long time. But recently, large multi-seated vehicles also started attempting to take over the same route. This increased competition and ultimately led to a clash.
According to Irada Rasulova, head of the press service of the Kashkadarya region Department of Internal Affairs, the situation is under the control of law enforcement. At the moment, a pre-investigation check is being conducted. But so far, no official information has been provided regarding any injured or detained individuals.
It is worth noting that lack of oversight in the route transport system may create grounds for such conflicts. In such situations, not only drivers but also passengers are at risk. This incident once again highlights the need to review issues of competition and control in public transport.
It remains unclear how the conflict will be resolved and what measures will be taken against the participants. However, the government and relevant agencies must find strict and systematic solutions to prevent such conflicts. After all, peace and safety on the roads must be a priority.
