The news about a technical fire that occurred in Syrdarya region has caused concern among many. The fact that the incident involved a moving vehicle made the situation even more serious. This was officially reported by the regional Emergency Situations Department.
According to the official statement, on August 4 at around 20:04, a cargo truck caught fire unexpectedly while passing through Furqat neighborhood on the 879th kilometer of the M-39 highway. Preliminary reports indicate that the truck’s engine, driver’s cabin, and trailer section were completely burned.
The fire lasted for about 27 minutes and was fully extinguished by Emergency Services personnel by 20:31. No human casualties were recorded in the incident, which was the only relief in an otherwise alarming situation.
At present, specialists are investigating the causes of the fire. Meanwhile, citizens, especially drivers, have been urged to check the technical condition of their vehicles on time, undergo inspections, and strictly follow traffic regulations.
It is assumed that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit in the electrical system or a malfunction in the fuel system. However, the final conclusion will be announced based on the results of the relevant expert examination.
