On August 5, a traffic incident that occurred on one of the central streets of Tashkent — Nukus Street — sparked widespread public discussion.

According to official information from the Emergency Situations Department, the incident took place on Nukus Street, located in the Mirabad district of the capital. It is assumed that the fire was caused by a malfunction in the vehicle’s fuel system or electrical circuit, after the car suddenly stopped in the middle of the road.

The fire and rescue team arrived at the scene at 12:59 and managed to fully extinguish the fire by 13:06 — in just seven minutes. In that short time, the Spark burned completely and became unrecognizable from the outside.

Most importantly — no lives were lost in the incident. The fact that no one was injured or killed brought some relief in this alarming situation.

At present, experts are investigating the exact causes of the fire. Factors such as the car's technical condition, fuel system, and air temperature are also being considered.

In this regard, city residents and drivers are urged to have their vehicles inspected on time, not to ignore even minor malfunctions, and to strengthen safety measures. Any fire that may occur on the road not only causes material damage but often poses a threat to human life as well.
