Sanepid authority clarified baseless reports about ice cream

The Uzbekistan Sanepid Committee rejected as baseless the reports circulating in some sectors that "ice cream can lead to death," Kursiv.media reported.

According to the authority, the ice creams sold in the country fully comply with sanitary requirements. All products are inspected before being put on sale.

At the same time, the committee advised the public not to believe baseless reports and to rely on official information. It was emphasized that these reports caused unwarranted concern among the population.
