In Bukhara, a 69-year-old blind woman stabbed her neighbor, causing his death. This was reported by the “Milliy” TV channel.
According to reports, the deceased man had maintained close neighborly and friendly relations with the woman for several years. He often visited her home as a guest.
After receiving her pension, the woman decided to celebrate and drank alcohol with her neighbor. Later, the drunken man urged her to drink more and began to insult her. At that moment, the woman, overwhelmed by anger, attacked him with a kitchen knife.
“I never wanted such a thing to happen. I always tried to help him. But he insulted me, disrespected me, and forced me to drink, so I acted out of anger. Because I am blind, I did not think that he would die,” the accused testified in court.
The Kogon City Criminal Court sentenced the accused. Based on the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, she was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
