Blogger Valeriy Yugay imprisoned for inciting interethnic hatred

In Nurofshon city, blogger Valeriy Yugay (known by the pseudonym "Abdulloh") was sentenced to 3.1 years of imprisonment for inciting interethnic hatred and statements against the president, Kursiv reported.

The Supreme Court press service emphasized that the sentence will be served in a penal colony-settlement.

Yugay has the right to appeal or file a cassation complaint against the verdict in the criminal panel of the Tashkent region court.

Recall that in one of his videos, the blogger stated that he does not recognize Uzbekistan and was dissatisfied with being born in the republic. He also said that if he gets 3 million subscribers and 100 million likes, he is ready to kill his mother. He was detained in the UAE in April and returned to Uzbekistan.
