In Tashkent region, a fire occurred that caused major losses for one family. According to the district khokimiyat’s press service, in the evening a strong fire broke out in a livestock barn located on Yakkatol Street of Koshtapa mahalla, Yangiyul district.
According to the information, a report about the fire reached the District Department of Emergency Situations at 19:40. The rescue team responded quickly, arriving at the scene at 19:57, and by 20:02 managed to localize the fire. In other words, the spread of the flames was prevented. The full extinguishing of the fire was completed at 20:40.
As a result, the roof part of the livestock barn was damaged on an area of 70 square meters. The saddest part is that, according to reports, cattle also burned in the fire. Although there were no casualties or injuries among people, for the owners it became a significant material and moral loss.
At present, specialists are investigating the causes of the fire. What exactly led to the incident and the amount of the damage will be known after expert examinations.
It is reported that three fire and rescue units were involved in extinguishing the fire. Officials urged the population to strictly follow fire safety rules, especially during the summer drought and hot weather.
This incident once again showed that even a moment of negligence can destroy the results of many years of work in an instant. Therefore, residents must take any actions related to fire very seriously.
