In the capital, a video showing a minor driving a Malibu car in a shopping center parking lot sparked wide discussions on social media. The State Road Traffic Safety Inspection issued an official statement regarding the incident.

According to the information, the incident took place on Bunyodkor Avenue in the Chilanzar district. The previously circulated video showed a child driving a car in the parking area.

Law enforcement officers investigated the situation and identified the child. Afterwards, the child and his parents were summoned for a preventive conversation and procedural measures.

As a result of the inspection, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the child’s father. He was held accountable under Article 47 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility for failing to fulfill his duties of upbringing and supervision of children.

Officials once again warned that driving by minors is not only a violation of the law but also poses a serious danger to life. Therefore, parents are urged to establish strict control over their children.
