Emergency assistance provided to children beaten by their father in Jizzakh

In the Jizzakh region, children who were brutally beaten by their father during a family conflict are receiving urgent assistance. This was reported by the press service of the National Social Protection Agency. Specialists are currently placing the minors in a family children’s home and actively working on returning their mother, who works abroad, to her homeland.

According to the agency, the injured children were first taken to the primary medical care center and fully examined by doctors. It has now been confirmed that their health is satisfactory. Additionally, specialists from the “Inson” Social Services Center provided psychological assistance, paying special attention to stabilizing the children’s mental condition.

At present, the children are placed in a family children’s home under daily supervision and full state protection. At the same time, specialists are working to return their mother, who is working abroad, as soon as possible and to create opportunities for family reunification.

It is worth noting that the incident became known after a video was spread on social networks on August 28, showing a man making the children cry, scaring them, and brutally beating them. The regional children’s ombudsman paid attention to the video and established that it was a family conflict among the local population and that the man applied violence against his two children.

The press service of the department assured that strict measures will be taken against the father, and law enforcement authorities initiated a criminal case against this person under Article 110, Part 2, Clause “a” (Torture). These measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of the children and protecting their future life.
