In Tashkent, father prepaid a record amount of alimony — 150,000 US dollars — for his three children. This was reported by the Tashkent City Department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement.
It became known that the Uchtepa district office received an enforcement document based on the decisions of the Interdistrict Court for Civil Cases of Uchtepa district dated May 17, 2018, and April 20, 2022. According to the document, 1/3 of the salary and other income of the debtor B.T. must be withheld monthly in favor of the claimant B.G. until the three children reach adulthood.
The enforcement proceedings were initiated by the bureau and sent to the parties. During the enforcement process, the father submitted an application: he requested that the alimony for the maintenance of minor children be calculated in advance. This request was carried out based on Article 145 of the Family Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Resolution No. 808 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 10, 2018.
According to calculations, the total amount of alimony to be prepaid from July 1, 2025, to February 2, 2040, was 1,847,413,073 soms. This is not only a record amount of payment, but also demonstrates the father’s responsibility in providing for his children.
As a result, on August 29, the father paid alimony in the amount of 150,000 US dollars in favor of the claimant. The enforcement proceeding has been officially completed, and this case has been recorded as a new record in alimony payments in our country.
This event once again reminds of the importance of social and financial responsibility of a father to his children and highlights the significance of ensuring stable and reliable support for children through legal mechanisms.
